About the Book

“The collection of articles included in this valuable book will enrich the wider ecumenical dialogue considerably.”

—Harvey Cox, Hollis Professor of Divinity Emeritus
Harvard University

Orthodox Christian Views of Other Religions is especially relevant because of its multi-disciplinary approach to its questions. In its distinct yet inter-related chapters, we encounter the topic through the lenses of patristic and contemporary theology, but also through the perspectives of Eucharistic theology and anthropology, ritual studies, the study of Jewish liturgy, ecclesiastical and temple architecture, and interfaith dialogue.””

—From the Introduction by Kimberley C. Patton
Professor of the Comparative and Historical Study of Religion
Harvard Divinity School
